The Butterfly Pavilion’s Wings of the Tropics exhibit lets you walk in a rainforest surrounded by free-flying butterflies from around the globe - but it takes a lot of amazing work to make it possible! Go behind the scenes to learn how the butterflies are sourced, shipped from distant lands, and cared for before and after they hatch from their chrysalises.
Teen Naturalists: Behind the Scenes at Denver Museum of Nature and Science
Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum’s Vertebrate Zoology Collection. They will open climate-controlled cabinets and drawers in the collections space to show us bird and mammal skeletons, skulls, and skins.
