Take an easy informal stroll along Anne U. White trail. The September 2013 flood's effects are spectacular at the site, as is nature's recovery, and the Boulder County Parks and Open Space trail work is outstanding. The hike is 3.5 miles round trip with a gentle incline. Some parts of the trail are rocky so consider hiking poles.

Where to meet: Meet at the Anne U. White trailhead parking lot, map and directions here. The lot is located off Lee Hill Drive northwest of Boulder - from Lee Hill Drive turn west onto Wagonwheel Gap Road, travel about 1.1 miles and turn left onto Pinto Drive. More info about the trail, including photos, can be found here.
