Trip leader: Megan Jones Patterson

Megan Jones Patterson is a wildlife biologist and educator with avian experience from Australia to the Neotropics to North America. She is active with both BCAS and Colorado Field Ornithologists. Megan will lead us on this outing with the possibility of seeing a variety of species in diverse habitats. We'll bird for two hours then meet at Asher for drinks you pay for and appetizers provided by BCAS. Bring a mask, binoculars (extra binoculars will be available to borrow), repellent, and water.

Where to meet: Walden Ponds is just west of 75th St. between Valmont Rd. and Jay Rd. At the Walden Ponds sign on 75th, turn west, follow the road as it curves to the south, and turn right into the Cottonwood Marsh parking lot. Asher Brewing Co. is at 4699 Nautilus Ct. S, Suite 104. It's very close to Avery Brewing Co. for those of you who know where Avery is.
