At its November 12 concert, the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Richard Scofano’s composition La Tierra Sin Mal (The World without Evil), based on a Guarani legend from Argentina. The music describes a wonderful natural paradise on earth. We’ll sample this and other music at local wetlands to explore ways that composers of classical music have captured the essence of birds and nature in their works. Beautiful musical selections (on portable speakers) and amazing bird viewing guaranteed. This free program is sponsored by the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra, Lafayette Open Space and the Boulder County Audubon Society.
