Participants must follow CDC and State of Colorado and Boulder County Public Health guidelines on the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants must also follow individual field trip leader requirements, such as fully vaccinated status to register and/or wearing masks when in close proximity. And, PLEASE stay home if you are feeling unwell.
Take a bird walk through a variety of habitats at White Rocks Nature Preserve with Carl Starace. Possible birds include Warbling Vireo, Spotted Sandpiper, Blue Grosbeak, Orchard Oriole, Great-tailed Grackle., and Wood Duck. There are no restroom facilities.
Where and when to meet: Meet at 7:30 AM at the Teller Farm North Trailhead, which accesses the White Rocks trail from the south end. From 75th Street and Valmont Road, travel east on Valmont 2.1 miles to parking lot on the right (south). From the east, the trailhead is just over 1/2 mile west of 95th Street.
