Join Naturalist Dave Sutherland and a large telescope for a free trip through the universe! We’ll peer into the heart of our galaxy, the Milky Way, to see new stars being born; and look at the "smoke ring" of glowing gas that forms when a star comes to the end of its life. Glittering star clusters and colorful double stars thrown in at no extra charge! Bring mosquito repellent and a jacket just in case.

Where and when to meet: Meet at 9:00 PM at the Joder Ranch Trailhead, 7481 North Foothills Highway (aka Highway 36). Joder Ranch is part of the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks - click here for info and directions. Google maps knows it as just the Joder Trailhead.
