Participants must follow CDC and State of Colorado and Boulder County Public Health guidelines on the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants must also follow individual field trip leader requirements, such as fully vaccinated status to register and/or wearing masks when in close proximity. And, PLEASE stay home if you are feeling unwell.
We will hike on the Schoolhouse Trail loop at the southern end of Heil Valley Ranch, a Boulder County Parks and Open Space property. Possible birds include Western Tanager, Cordilleran Flycatcher, Plumbeous Vireo, Yellow-breasted Chat, Lazuli Bunting, and Pygmy Nuthatch.
Where and when to meet: Meet at 7:30 at the Corral Trailhead parking lot on Geer Canyon Drive. Turn west on Lefthand Canyon Drive from Highway 36, travel about 2/3 mile and turn north on Geer Canyon Drive. For Heil Valley Ranch info click here.
