Getting to Know Your Avian Neighbors: Birding for Beginners (Boulder)

Participants are expected to comply with current government social distancing requirements and precautions.  Participants must wear face masks over their mouth and nose throughout the event and must maintain 6 feet distance from other participants who are not members of the same household.  Participants are discouraged from carpooling to and from this event with other participants who are not members of the same household.

Limit 6, RSVP to trip leader to reserve your spot after 6PM on March 8th. (Early registration is not accepted).

Please be prepared for a 3-hour walk around Walden and Sawhill Ponds. We will look for ducks, herons, kingfishers, hawks, eagles, and whoever else shows up!

Loaner binoculars (and disinfectant) are available for participants without binoculars. Please let the trip leader know you want the binoculars with your RSVP.

Where to meet: Meet at the Cottonwood Marsh parking lot at Walden Ponds off of 75th St. (Not the Sawhill Ponds parking lot).
