Why fly to Belize or Costa Rica when their birds will come to us? Dave Sutherland, an award-winning naturalist and formerly with Boulder OSMP, is sure to entertain us as we bird one of Boulder's best trails for colorful spring migrants. We will actually use "Birds of Costa Rica" as our field guide! Afterward, we will head back down the road to Southern Sun, 627 S. Broadway, where we will have food provided by BCAS and you pay for your own drinks. They don't take credit cards, so bring cash or check. Bring the usual: mask, binoculars (if you don’t have binoculars extras will be available), repellent, and water.

Where to Meet: Go south on Broadway, west on Table Mesa, south on Lehigh, right on Bear Mt. Dr., and the trailhead is just past Wildwood Ln. Park on the street. To map, use the address 1520 Bear Mountain Drive.
