Between April 28 - May 1, Boulder County is competing against other US cities in the City Nature Challenge! iNaturalist is a huge international scientific database that helps researchers better understand the distribution of species across the globe and provides tools for you to learn about what you see outdoors (and occasionally indoors).

If you have one, bring a camera or smartphone. Loaner cameras will also be available. If you are bringing a smartphone, please have the iNaturalist app loaded and a user account already set up. If you have never used iNaturalist to help identify and report your sightings, you will love it.
